Once I thought about it, it was an easy choice. My therapist was pushing me to get a regular lightweight,  wheelchair.  She said it would be better for me to use for sports, to use with my car, etc. But dad said if I can stand up... I would be healthier and stronger.   PLUS, I could probably get my old job back.  AND if I went back to work, then I could afford to buy a lite weight chair myself.  Maybe even get a truck, also. Now, I'm using my standing chair for work and therapy .. and with my earnings, I bought a sporty chair for goofing  around.   I truly have the best of both worlds. Nick C. 	After sitting in a wheelchair for two years...standing was like heaven. It was overwhelmingly relieving.  I cannot even describe the ecstasy of standing. I've had my chair for over a year and don't know how I got by without it. O.K. so I go into a restaurant and ask the hostess if we can sit in the bar at one of the taller tables.  She gives me a funny look.  By the time she returns with our orders I am now standing 6'2" and she almost loses her whole drink tray in front of everybody. This chair is a great complement to my workout routine.  I am getting stronger every day and will use this until the day I don't need it anymore. Keep up the good work.  I love you guys! Brian C. Since Samantha received her standing wheelchair two years ago, she has become so much more independent. She now can brush teeth at the sink, loves doing dishes, can get her own drink from the fridge and shoot her rifle with her dad, etc.  The Standing Wheelchair has helped our daughter in so many different ways. We had the opportunity to spend a few days at The Standing Company in Saginaw.  The folks there are awesome!!! Thanks for making Samantha more independent and confident in herself. 	Me and my red wagon I just built. I did it all alone including the staining.  My standing chair came in real handy to reach the top heights.  I could not have done this job (or the many other jobs over the last six (6) years around the farm) without it. My son, Mike, suffers from Friedriche's Ataxia and is in a wheelchair full time.  He likes lifting weights and keeping in shape, but he always had a problem with poor circulation and cold feet. Mike's standing chair has helped much with better circulation over the last three (3) years.  His feet never looked or felt better. This is exactly what I had been wanting ... and didn't even realize it! It has helped change my life.  I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and have a full time job.  At 27 I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. 	Marlon has gotten stronger since we received our standing wheelchair (two years ago) his legs, arms, and back are noticeably stronger.     He is now able to move his legs and he can pull his left leg up.
